CANNES: LE SUQUET ★

This is the last photo diary from Cannes, little tear of sadness! Although I think my favorite post was this one, my favorite part of Cannes is certainly le Suquet, the old part of the city built on a little hill. It boasts amazing views of both Cannes and the Mediterranean sea and it's infinite stairs and secret passages are just SO charming. I got to attend two events in Le Suquet, one at night for Xavier Dolan's Laurence Anyways after party and a festival cocktail hour, both times at le Chateau du Cercle. I love that I had the opportunity to see more than just La Croisette, which can get quite busy and overwhelming during the festival!

Hope you enjoyed my little tour of the Cannes festivities, you can see all he Cannes posts here if you missed some. I'll be posting one last article with other people's I Phone pictures of me (he he, I don't have an IPhone, yup!) and debriefing on my whole experience very soon! Virginie

  2. Incredible. You can see some people and cars in the second last one, but looking at most of these quiet and tranquil shots from your trip, it makes it seem like you had the entire Côte d'Azur as your own private playground.

    1. With more than 10 000 industry professionals attending the festival daily, some peace and quiet was definitely needed at times! And if you are willing to walk a few extra blocks, the city of Cannes has even more to offer than the mythical Croisette :)

    2. I just re-read my comment and it sounds like I was being slightly critical, but I really meant to express that it was a cool thing, just wanted to clear that up. :)
