This week-end, we took a mini-vacation in our area and it was amazing! Ramiro is the absolute hardest working person I know and he rarely takes a day off, so to have a long week-end free was such a blessing! Between making the movie and writing video game screenplays for Activision on Marvel franchises, this man is busy! Some down time definitely did him a lot of good and we promised each other to take a longer vacation later this Summer. After all, we haven't taken more than 4 days off in over 2 years... yikes!
We started things off by visiting the Chutes de la Chaudière, another waterfall in our area that we discovered with much enthusiasm. It's simply breath taking and maybe the coolest picnic spot ever. It's totally free to visit and there are 5km of hiking trails, a biking trail and an ice cream bar! I definitely recommend it if ever you are in the Québec city surroundings.

ReplyDeleteHaha. my boyfriend is the same way. He promised me that we would also take a longer than usual vacation this summer. He set aside a Thursday and Friday so we could have a long weekend somewhere.

It was fun but a bit scary too, the bridge was swaying with the wind, yikes!
