So my Spirafilm Super-8MM project is going really well. Six movies are now shot and the stock has been processed (it's now being scanned!). We have two more movies to shoot in early 2011. I am getting WAY excited to see the final result!
This week I gave an interview for the making of the project. I really wanted to post about this because I don't want to forget anything about this project, which will forever be my first film stock project ever.
Tonight is my office Christmas party. I am SO looking forward to my Christmas vacation, which starts next Tuesday, yipee :)
Have a great week-end every one!
ps: thank you so much for all the sweet comments on completing the Remix, can you believe I am still wearing my 30 for 30 clothes 90% of the time? I hope we all remix together next season too!
congratulations on so much progress, it sounds like "your baby" is being well tended to! have a wonderful christmas party & vacay. ♥
ReplyDeletepea ess: thanks so much for your comment, i just adore Alia's whole portfolio. glad you agree!
That looks like an incredibly fun project to be involved in. Is there going to a DVD with all your films?
ReplyDeleteCongrats, girl! I can't wait to see the final product :) And you can count me in on doing this challenge again... it's been a steep learning curve! I've finally learned to utilize more of my closet! Yay us!

There will be a DVD, the whole project has already been booked in a few festivals from June to December 2011, then it will come out on DVD :)
ReplyDeleteHa ha, just came back from my office party and in the secret santa exchange I got a Kodak Escort 8MM cam, love it!
Congrats on your first film stock project ever. That is awesome! And congrats on doing the 30X30 remix. I love looking at all the clothing options! Maybe I will do it one of these days:) Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's so exciting! As a diehard film devotee, it always makes me happy to hear that people are making movies on real film. I get why digital is awesome...but it's just not as good.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your work! Congrats on the 30x30, too. I don't think I could ever do that...
