2013, you were amazing! Thank you so much for everything. Retrospecting always makes me feel so nostalgic and this year was particularly great. I will mostly remember 2013 as the year our very first feature film held it's world premiere. It was a major career milestone for me and I had been dreaming of it for years. Our experience at the Busan Film Festival was beyond magical (you can see more of our South Korean adventure here) and leaves a lingering happiness in my heart.

CHRISTMAS 2013
Christmastime at my father's maple farm was whimsical. Snowshoeing, pink sunsets and Billie in that little Santa outfit make me a happy girl! Virginie XO

EYES WIDE SHUT
At the very top of my list of favorite Holiday films! Sure it's not about Christmas per say, but give me an artistically interesting film discussing a married relationship from an uncanny angle and decorated with an overabundance of fairy lights and I will be yours forever! PS: I want a fairy lights wall at my place super please. Happy Holidays everyone! Virginie XO

LA GUERRE DES TUQUES
I think my non French Canadian readers probably never heard of this film, but for me it's THE ultimate childhood Holiday film! And translated in over 20 languages too. Les contes pour tous is an amazing Quebec produced series of children and family films that holds a ton of Holiday nostalgia for me (and Ramiro too), This one tells the story of a friendly snow war in Baie-Saint-Paul during the Holiday school vacation. I can't wait to watch it with our kids one day! Virginie XO
Other lovely Holiday film: Edward Scissor Hands
