Super-8 Girl

I am so happy to say that the two grants documents I have been working on are now in the mail on their way to the Canada Council for the Art. Woo hoo! Now let's keep our fingers crossed that they accept our two movie projects!

I have been working non stop on these documents for the past two weeks straight and have another four to put together before April first. I'm going to be happy come Spring for sure!

To reflect my movie filled life, Sophie and I wanted to take pictures with my Super-8 camera as a prop. Since one of my biggest projects of the past two years was producing eight short films in Super-8MM film, it seemed fitting really. These movies are almost done and will be screened for the first time in June, I can't wait to see the final product! (Don't hate me for calling movies "products", I mean I am producer, and still consider all the movies I make to be art.)
These pictures are probably some of my favorites in a while. I love the settings, the colours, the shades and the SUN! They kind of feel very "me".

    Thos boots are ModCloth (Prospectress Boots) and are the best purchase I made in a long time, they are perfect for dirty winter Canadian streets.

    Bre I do paint my own nails, I'm really not a beauty parlor kind of girl at all. This color is coral, I love it, I find painted nails can be such a great accessory, they make everything fancier (I've been dying to try stick on patterned styles too!).
