I think February might be the less inspiring month ever so I have been focusing all my attention on work and what's next for our movie. Between organizing the post production of Clyde Nelson, planning a networking trip to the Cannes Film Festival and developing a new feature film project with an amazing writer from Nova Scotia, my days are often a sequence of Skype meetings. I think it's so much more organic for a creative meeting to be able to see the other person, gives you a much better feel or their energy, which is so important to me. Yay for the internet making us closer!
I can never get over how amazing vintage shopping is when it comes to noble fabrics. This skirt was one of my first vintage finds ever and cost me only 6$. I was trying to find a similar style online for the "shop this outfit" part of the post and couldn't find much under 500$... Sheesh!! I swear, creative consumerism is the best thing ever, right after oversized polka dots!
Have a good day everyone!

Seriously: IN LOVE WITH THIS T-SHIRT!!!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this look Virginie! Polka dots are my fave!
ReplyDeleteLove your outfit! :) x
ReplyDeleteI love this whole look - but I think the tights juxtaposed with the polka dots are knocking it out of the park for me.

What a great look! I have a skirt EXACTLY like that one! And for some odd reason, I've had a freakish amount of luck finding them in different colors at the thrift store. I have a pinkish red one, a green one, a grey one, AND a tan one. Perhaps the perfect skirt-- I can't stop buying them!
ReplyDeleteLove those polka dots! Can't believe what a bargain you have in that skirt.

This is great for a creative meeting... though I get the feeling that Skype might not be doing your tights justice! And I hear you on February... hate this month!

ReplyDeletei have to agree skype/googlechat/facetime has changed work for me! the ceo of my company calls me with our company's google chat from virginia to talk about things, and it makes it so much easier!

Love this look, the skirt is awesome. I've never thrifted leather have a couple wool sweaters from thrift stores. I looked around online and couldn't believe how much something similar would have cost me new! I love these tights too, you look adorable.
