Last Night's Movie

Last Tango in Paris, a Bernardo Bertolucci movie

I really enjoyed this movie for it's cinematography (it's breathtakingly beautiful) and the talent of it's actors. It definitely made a lasting impression on me, no wonder it's one of the most talked about movies of all times. It tells the story of a young woman (Maria Scheider) who develops a love affair with a much older man (Marlon Brando) and creates a world where they have no name, no past, no story.

I have to say I wouldn't have minded watching the censored version, there was a bit too much graphic sex for my taste. I absolutely recommend it to all movie lovers :)

  1. A masterpiece. Good to hear that Bertolucci is receiving a well deserved honorary Palme d'Or at Cannes this year.
