Dangerous Liaisons, a movie by Stephen Frears
Oh how I love this scandalous movie!! Such an enticing piece about seduction, manipulation and betrayal! Inspired by the amazing 18th century French novel Les liaisons dangereuses (Choderlos de Laclos), a must read for sure (I recommend spending a scandalous rainy week-end in bed with it).
The costumes and scenery are gorgeous, Jonh Malkovich has never been more charming and Glenn Close, Uma Thurman and Michelle Pfeiffer are superb. It will make your heart beat fast and you will get flustered for sure!
The same novel later inspired Cruel Intentions, a teen version of this sexual awakening story.
I have never heard of it, I will definitely look into it. :)
