Love the pretty photos. And, in "Capote," I couldn't believe how the physically-large Philip Seymour Hoffman could convincingly portray the physically-tiny Truman Capote, but he did. Excellent performance.
ReplyDeleteI love characters with big egos and Capote definitely delivers when it comes to believing in one's own genius he was the king!
DeleteFun to see what has been going on in your day-to-day live just a little bit. I love the pink tight and heart pants.

ReplyDeleteGreat update! I'm happy to hear the editing is coming along nicely.
ReplyDeletethe books look quite intersting, could you recommend me one about the history of movies?
ReplyDeletexxx Anita
Hey Anita! It really depends what specific aspect of movie History interests you... I love Taschen books about the History of movies because they have a lot of information yet tons of beautiful stills as well (cinema is a very visual art!)... I have one called 100 All-Time Favorite Movies and it goes over all the different phases of cinema, from the very first movie ever made to the 1990's, I'd recommend it for sure!
DeleteThe books I was reading this week are about the "indie" filmmakers of the 90's (Fincher, Tarantino, Anderson, Russell, Soderbergh...) and how they infiltrated the Hollywood studio system, which is fascinating to me! The other 2 are about producing and distribution :)
ah you're onto the second section already- how amazing!! what is your film about again? i feel like you could read about all the movie making for decades, keep up the awesome work!

The film is called Clyde Nelson, it's a character piece about Clyde, a young man that has a toxic relationship with his father and works within a self-empowerment group where he does more wrong than good...
