Thanksgiving ★

Today is Thanksgiving in Canada, a holiday that is not celebrated anywhere near enough here in my province. My family doesn't have a Thanksgiving tradition although we did travel to Montréal (second time in 5 days for me...) to spend time with my mother and brother. My family is not very traditional or "family oriented" and ever since I've started my own family with Ramiro, we have been creating traditions around different holidays. We started with Christmas and birthdays and then added on Easter. And I think now it's time to start dreaming up a Thanksgiving tradition! I mean this Holiday is such a beautiful one because it makes us reflect on the great things in our lives. Plus it happens during the most beautiful time of the year!

And although I have to say I am thankful everyday for the simple things that build my happiness, today I'm extra thankful to have a husband to make new traditions with...

  5. Happy Thanksgiving to you; I'm sure you'll create some great traditions.

Love the look- a chunky sweater seems a fall/winter staple, doesn't it?
