CHRISTMAS 2011 ★

Last year, Ramiro and I created a new tradition by playing outside all afternoon on Christmas day. We  snowshoed up a storm and rode the snow mobile over the corn fields at my father's maple farm. We had so much fun, we decided to make it a family tradition to do an outdoor's activity on Christmas day. This year, we were spending Christmas in coastal Baie Saint-Paul, so on Christmas day we went exploring the snowy beaches. It's hard to believe the last time we were there we were running around in our bathing suits! It was -20 degrees celsius and felt like we were on a beautiful glacier, it was so breathtaking. We had the best time, just being together and marvelling at the world's beauty. It made our Christmas even more magical and created memories we will not soon forget. This is a tradition I look forward to carrying on for a long time to come!

I hope your Holidays are filled with beauty and peace everyone,

Virginie

  1. I'm all about traditions, and my family keeps and invents so many that we can never get through them all. I think this new one of yours is a wonderful Christmas tradition, and I was just looking at your summer post from this place a few days ago. The wreck looks so impressive frozen!
